Desert Runner Project...

It is Doug's goal to get several things completed on his desert runner before we head to the family reunion in Arizona.

By utilizing the front clip, frame and axles of the '81 Toyota Pickup that originally served as Doug's welding truck, the "desert runner" came into existence back in 2005.

Shown here at the family reunion in 2006, the desert runner sports a galvanized pickup bed replete with tailgate, roll bars, fenders, tire rack and pipe doors.

This year the plan is to drive the desert runner to the reunion pulling a desert trailer. With 36 days left to get the desert runner and trailer ready it was time to make a list of the things needing to be accomplished before February 17, 2008!
